Are You Registered to Vote?

City of Plato Residetns - Are you registered to vote? Are you receiving the ballot information from the County? AS a reminder, the City changed to a mail-in ballot format in 2016. This means that each registered voter will receive their ballot in the mail 3 to 4 weeks prior to each election  You MUST be a registered voter to receive a ballot. Please contact the City Office or teh McLeod County Auditor-Treasurer's office with ANY voting questions you may have. 

August 11, 2026  Primary
November 3, 2026 General Election

If you do not wish to vote by mail in any of the elections, you can vote in person at the McLeod County Government Center in Glencoe. It is faster if you take the ballot you received in the mail. The letter provided will set out the days/times for early voting and times for election day.
