Open Forum Instructions/Guidelines

Open Forum provides an opportunity for the public to address the City Council. The public is invited to express any comments or concerns they may have which are relevant to the affairs, policies, or practices of the City.

Presenters need to have signed in on the Open Forum Sign-in sheet prior to the start of the meeting unless they are already on the meeting agenda. When called upon, please state your name and if you are a Plato resident or business owner or live outside city limits.

All remarks will be addressed to the Council as a whole. Personal attacks are prohibited. Please do not expect action from the Council this evening regarding your comments or concerns. This is your opportunity to provide information and be heard. Questions from the Council will be for clarification only. This is the only portion of the meeting that public comments are allowed and time will be limited to 5 minutes per presenter or topic, unless otherwise specifically granted by the Mayor.
